Casino's Local Advisory Group met to support the planning and implementation of Healthy Towns initiatives. Activities around diet and exercise, mental health, transport, youth and reconciliation were endorsed.

Over the past two months Healthy Towns Maclean has been busy organising events and co-ordinating and supporting activities. Read on to find out about some of the initiatives we have progressed so far.

Evan Heads' Local Advisory Group met to support the planning and implementation of Healthy Towns initiatives. Initiatives around social connection, access to services, mental health and transport were endorsed.

During October, Healthy Towns Woolgoolga helped to establish an interagency meeting for service providers, and co-ordinate a Mental Health Month community breakfast.

In October, Healthy Towns in South West Rocks held a clinical GP breakfast, hosted a Community Wellbeing Day at Horseshoe Bay and saw the launch of parkrun.

Healthy Towns in Lake Cathie had a big October! Our Mental Health Month event brought the community together, and a new partnership will allow us to fulfil a long held community request.
