A general practice based, placebo-controlled statin trial is seeking your involvement.
Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine is working with GPs to invite patients 70 years and older and free of CVD and diabetes to participate. The study has RACGP ethics approval and is NH&MRC funded with no pharmaceutical company endorsement. GP involvement is low burden, practice reimbursement and CPD points are available.
For more information see the rationale and fax-back form, or visit www.staree.org.au. For enquiries or to become a GP co-investigator, call 1800 770 664 or email: [email protected]
