The Promoting Participation in the National Cervical Screening Program to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Women course aims to educate healthcare providers on changes to the National Cervical Screening Program and promoting the benefits of regular cervical screening to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women.
With assistance from the Cancer Institute of NSW, the Benchmarque Group is bringing this course to the North Coast. Flyers are available at the links below.
The course delivery includes a half-day face-to-face workshop and an online assessment.
Who can come along:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners.
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community leaders.
- Healthcare providers, including non-clinical support staff.
- Anyone working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Women to support the benefits of regular cervical screening.
This course is for women only attendees. It is not a clinical program and does not provide competency for the Cervical Screening Test (previously Pap Test).
