As the Australian Government’s COVID-19 vaccine program continues to develop, new information and resources are being released every week.
We understand it can be challenging to keep up to date. Our COVID-19 vaccination information hub provides quick access to the latest developments and key information sources, all in one place. We’ll be updating this weekly.
This week's highlights
COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca training now available
The Australian Government has partnered with the Australian College of Nursing to provide free and accredited training that must be completed by all health professionals administering COVID-19 vaccines. This includes GPs in a supervision role. The training is also available for non-clinical and administration staff, who can access the non-clinical modules of the training. This includes administration, handling and storage, and communication and purpose. In addition to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty), training is now available for the AstraZeneca/University of Oxford COVID-19 vaccine.
