The new COVID-19 Vaccination Information HealthPathway is now live.
The pathway was developed by the Nepean Blue Mountains HealthPathways Team, in consultation with NSW Health, the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation, and the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance
The pathway is a statewide pathway and will be updated regularly as needed.
The ‘Background’ section contains comprehensive information about COVID-19 vaccination. There are links to resources for education, vaccine information, consent, rollout and practice preparation, online reporting and forms, specific population and patient resources.
The ‘NSW state guidance’ section contains information from NSW Health, lists information on adverse events and provides training and education resources. The ‘Mid and North Coast – local guidance’ section contains further information and directs the users to visit Healthy North Coast for up-to- date specific local guidance and resources.

COVID-19 Assessment and Management in RACFs Update
On 22 February 2021, the following important updates were added to the COVID-19 Assessment and Management in Residential Aged Care HealthPathway as clinical editor’s notes.
Clinical editor’s note
NSW health care facilities are now on Green Alert (low risk of transmission) in line with the COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control Response Framework. Current risk levels are monitored on the COVID-19 Risk Monitoring Dashboard.
