Healthy North Coast is excited to launch our calendar of education and events for January-June 2024.
This calendar continues on from a very successful 2023 where education and events were very well-subscribed and highly regarded, with a highlight being two clinical society forums which provided localised education around chronic care.
The first half of 2024 promises a variety of topical education and updates on sexual health, ear syringing, domestic violence, immunisation, cultural safety training, digital health, disaster preparedness, end-of-life care and voluntary assisted dying.
In addition, Healthy North Coast is excited to welcome clinicians to our biannual conference in June, which will explore the challenges of acute care issues in primary care.
Director for Primary Care Impact and Partnerships at Healthy North Coast, Mr Luke Elias, has seen the education program go from strength to strength:
"Healthy North Coast education is a gateway for GPs, nurses, and allied health staff to undertake localised learning and then put this into practice at the point of care. Ultimately, this will have a real impact on health outcomes and benefit our community."
Healthy North Coast’s Education Team, which includes Dr Andy Williams and Dr Liz Hicks, looks forward to seeing you at our 2024 events.
