Healthy North Coast is conducting an evaluation of the mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs service reform, and we need your assistance.
In 2022-23 a review of the mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs services on the North Coast took place, in response to low improvements in health outcomes and community concerns about access to services.
Taking feedback from our local community, service providers, and our two local health districts (hospital-based providers), we made changes and improvements to the services available within our local communities. These services are being delivered by the Buttery, EACH and Mission Australia, and we have engaged the services of First Person Consulting to undertake an independent evaluation of how these services are performing.
The newly designed services are aimed at giving everyone on the North Coast the right care at the right time. We are looking at people’s whole health, how they feel emotionally, physically, and socially and evaluating how well we are achieving this goal.
The Better Wellbeing Survey is now open. It is a way you can let us know about any feedback on the services you, your family, or friends are receiving. The survey will only take 10 minutes to complete and is available to all North Coast residents 16 years and over.
The survey will close on Sunday 19 October 2025.
