Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) Health Promotion is seeking expressions of interest for Theory Facilitators/Leaders and Physical Activity Facilitators/Leaders for the Kempsey Aboriginal Go4Fun program.
The Theory Facilitators/leaders will be responsible for delivering nutrition theory content. The Physical Activity Facilitators/Leaders will be responsible for delivering physical activity content.
Go4Fun is a 10-week program run once a week for two hours after school, during the school term.
Interested people should meet the following criteria to join the Kempsey Go4Fun team to lead nutrition and physical activity sessions. They should have:
- a health background (for example, dietetics, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, social work, psychology, nursing)
- experience working with children and their families
- the ability to motivate, inspire and interact well with children and their parents/carers
- experience facilitating group education sessions with children and adults
- the ability to work flexible hours.
All leaders will be required to have a Working with Children Check, evidence of COVID-19 double vaccination and a current NSW driver’s licence. Comprehensive training will be provided.
