Healthy North Coast held a webinar in February designed to help health care providers address patients with illnesses related to mould in the indoor environment. The webinar provided background understanding of how mould may be affecting patients and it explored key papers that clinicians should be aware of.
Feedback from the webinar was positive, with one general practitioner saying, ‘Mould is not a topic I’ve seen covered, so great to have it. Hopefully it can be sent out to watch on demand again. I now have some resources or contacts to give out.’
A practice nurse in attendance said, ‘Clearly spoken presenters with a wealth of information made this an interesting watch. I will now be including mould-related considerations in care planning for relevant people.’
Another nurse said, ‘The webinar was timely with the anniversary of the floods. Many people are still living with mould conditions, and I now feel more equipped to ask questions in the hope of resolving some of their health concerns.’
For primary health care clinicians who missed the webinar, you can catch up on the webinar recording here.
