Healthy North Coast is conducting an online survey for flood-affected primary health care providers.
We are interested in how the floods impacted your primary care service, and what else your workforce needs to support recovery.
Your feedback will help us to allocate Australian Government flood relief funding.
The survey, which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, is now open and will close on 8 May 2022.
Following the survey, Healthy North Coast will analyse the results and use the feedback to shape the assistance available. Additional consultation with primary health care clinicians will be undertaken to test concepts.
For example, locum support may be identified as the top priority, leading to the engagement of agencies to provide staff. Alternatively, if education and skills training is identified as the most important need, individual support to clinicians may be more appropriate.
Supporting and facilitating the wellbeing and resilience of local primary health care providers is paramount. Healthy North Coast will continue to work with providers and with relevant state and local agencies to help ensure continuity of primary health care services for affected communities.
