Does it concern you that Atrial Fibrillation (AF) and other arrhythmias are of increasing prevalence in the community? As a GP, I’m concerned to know that there are asymptomatic patients who are undiagnosed and untreated. And they have higher risk of morbidity and mortality. This concern has prompted me to pursue a PhD around this subject.
At present, we are exploring GPs’ and GP Registrars’ views in the following questions:
- Should GPs screen asymptomatic patients?
- What is the role of mobile ECG devices?
- What is GPs’ need for ECG interpretation training?
University of Sydney is conducting a 5-minute survey. As a token of appreciation, we give away three $50-giftcards via a lucky draw to participants who completed the survey.
If you first hear about this survey via PHN, please indicate so because we would like to give recognition to organisations that provide us assistance.
