Commencing late January, Dr Tom Wellings, Neurologist, will be consulting at the NCPHN Specialist Clinic rooms, 53 Lord Street, Port Macquarie.
Tom is a general neurologist from John Hunter Hospital. He attended Hastings Primary School in Port Macquarie before moving to Sydney with his family. He trained at UNSW, received the RACP College medal for best in the physicians written and clinical examination in 2008, before advanced training in Neurology at John Hunter Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and a PK Thomas fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital in London. Since returning to Australia, Tom has worked as a general neurologist and on the John Hunter stroke roster.
Tom’s experience spans the breadth of neurology including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology, headache, vestibular disorders and disorders of eye movement.
