‘The first 2000 days’ webinar series is an opportunity to build your knowledge, confidence and skills to provide support and referral pathways to families and young children.
The series will be facilitated by Jody Clayton, Mid North Coast Local Health District child protection and child wellbeing coordinator.
Jody will outline the importance of the first 2000 days of a child’s life, giving examples of actions that can be taken to promote better life outcomes.
She will also help to build awareness and confidence in knowing which services and programs to refer families to in order to support them with early child development.
The First 2000 Days webinar series aims to increase:
- your understanding of the importance of the first 2000 days and actions that can be taken to promote better life outcomes
- your knowledge of the priority health areas
- your confidence to engage in conversations about priority health areas
- your confidence to refer to the right level of service at the right time
- your awareness of and referrals to local health services and programs.
