The Rural Doctors Network has recognised 24 outstanding rural GPs, honouring them for each providing 35 plus years of service to country NSW.
At the 2017 Rural Medical Service Awards ceremony during the annual Rural GPs Conference Dinner, awards were presented to 14 GPs, three from the North Coast: Dr Robyn Yabsley for 35 years of service to Murwillumbah; Dr Peter Bowles for 36 years of service to Gloucester and Mullumbimby and Dr John Moran for 38 years of service to Murwillumbah.
RDN CEO Mr Richard Colbran said each of the doctors honoured had made an outstanding contribution to their community by providing ongoing, high quality health care.
Congratulations to these worthy recipients!
