Pancreatic cancer remains one of Australia’s deadliest cancers, with a 5-year survival rate of just 14%, with little improvement over decades.
Two free professional development modules of the National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap – developed for Cancer Australia by collaborations with the University of Queensland, the University of Melbourne, and key stakeholders – have been developed for healthcare professionals to address diagnosis, surveillance of high-risk individuals, interventional pain management, and pathways to palliative care:
- Integrated approach to pancreatic cancer: Diagnosis and surveillance
- Pancreatic cancer pathways: Pain management and palliative care
Pancare Foundation are proud to have facilitated the promotion of this work.
