Hello, I’m Jane Moye, the Primary Care Coordinator for Residential Aged Care at Healthy North Coast.
My role supports improving the capacity of GPs working in aged care, supporting residential aged care homes in connecting with new GPs and fostering stronger working relationships. I also look for ways to address any gaps in GP availability, including different models of care
I’m your go-to person for information about the why and how to register residents for the General Practice in Aged Care Incentive and can share a toolkit that helps build strong relationships with GPs, where needed.
Feel free to reach out to discuss GP coverage for existing or new residents.
I love this role and see the incredible need for this work. Having worked in practices caring for elderly patients, I know firsthand the privilege and deep satisfaction that doctors and nurses experience when providing care for people in their later years. I’m passionate about promoting aged care as a rewarding career and encouraging more healthcare practitioners to work in this space.
Every resident should enjoy regular quality primary care and I’ve already seen the impact of assisting practices and GPs in navigating what can be challenging work.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our labradoodle, Charlie. You’ll often find me enjoying an almond latte at a Port Macquarie café, walking Charlie on Lighthouse Beach, or chauffeuring my basketball-loving kids across the state for their games.
I look forward to connecting with more of our community – please feel free to reach out to me [email protected] if I can assist you!
