Maclean Medical is delighted to announce the opening of its new Women’s Health and Menopause Clinic, dedicated to providing specialised health care services to women of all ages.
This new facility, led by specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Ettie Joubert, will open its doors in February and is located at Maclean Medical Specialist Centre at 42 River St, Maclean.
The Women’s Health and Menopause Clinic is committed to delivering compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of women. From routine gynaecological exams to specialised menopause management and everything in between, the clinic offers a wide range of services designed to support women’s health and wellbeing throughout their lives.

- Specialised care: Offering expert consultation and treatment for a wide range of women’s health issues, including menstrual disorders, PCOS, menopause, and fertility concerns.
- Expert leadership: Led by Dr Ettie Joubert, a highly experienced specialist in obstetrics, gynaecology and menopause management.
- Comprehensive services: Includes routine check-ups, hormonal therapy, lifestyle counselling, personalised health plans, ultrasound and diagnostic and minor procedures including colposcopies onsite.
- Patient-centric approach: Dedicated to delivering empathetic care and empowering women with knowledge about their health.
- Additional services: Weight loss, smoking cessation, restorative hair treatments, skin cancer checks, aesthetic nurse who specialises in cosmetic procedures and treatments such as skin rejuvenation, cellular regeneration and age management, laser and dermal services to assist with hormonal skin and hair concerns and onsite beauty services.
They accept referrals from patients’ GP direct to Dr Ettie Joubert, or those without a referral can make an appointment to visit the clinic where we can refer direct.
Access Health Clinic also launched
Additionally, Maclean Medical is excited to announce the launch of their new Access Health Clinic, a walk-in clinic designed to provide convenient and high-quality health care services to the entire community. This service is led by experienced nurse practitioners.
The Access Health Clinic is committed to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on accessibility and efficiency. With no appointments necessary, patients can visit the clinic at their convenience and receive timely care for a variety of health concerns, from minor illnesses and injuries to preventive services and health education.

Key features of the Access Health Clinic:
- Walk-in services: No appointments necessary. Patients can simply walk in during operating hours for immediate care.
- Comprehensive care: Services include diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, health screenings, vaccinations, and more.
- Patient education: Focus on educating patients about their health conditions and preventive measures.
Both services will operate from 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday at Maclean Medical Specialist Centre, 42 River St Maclean (next to the CWA building), and will move to its new premises on River Street once building is complete in early 2026.
