It’s important that healthcare organisations know the renewal date of their National Authentication Service for Health (NASH) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate.
The NASH PKI certificate allows health care providers to access ePrescribing, Secure messaging and My Health Record.
If the certificate expires it affects the ability for healthcare organisations to send and receive critical patient information, such as:
- eScripts
- eReferrals
- discharge summaries and ADNs
- viewing and uploading to My Health Record
- healthcare identifier information
