GPs and practice nurses on the North Coast are invited to take part in a virtual collaboration session to provide your insights for the design of the implementation of the Joint Regional Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drugs Plan.
Collaboration session:
Virtual sessions are being held with the social services, NGO and GP service sectors to identify practical solutions for improving the effective delivery of mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs services.
Your local-level insights are vital to ensure all systems are being considered in the design of the implementation of the Regional Plan.
The Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drug Joint Regional Plan is:
- A way forward to deliver joined up mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drug services between the hospital and community systems.
- A plan to help different services speak to each other.
- A way for the Mid North Coast Local Health District, the Northern NSW Local Health District and Healthy North Coast to deliver better care that is easy to access and understand.
For more information, view the initial media release of the Plan launch. You can find the Plan on our Key Documents page.
