Earlier in April, Healthy North Coast facilitated a live webinar called Voluntary Assisted Dying: Six Months On. The webinar explored how the VAD landscape has evolved 6 months on from legislative change.
Our panellists shared their expert knowledge and experience with attendees and answered the many questions that came their way. One of the key takeouts from the evening was the keen interest that health professionals have in learning about the VAD process and their roles and responsibilities in relation to VAD. A big thank you to all of our panellists:
- Vanessa Gee, Senior Manager, Palliative and End of Life Care, Healthy North Coast
- Dr Marc Heyning, General Practitioner & Credentialled Practitioner
- Jane Nosworthy, Dying with Dignity Victoria
- Dr Sarah Townsend, Clinical Director, NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Support Services
More information on the webinar, including presentation slides, Q&A fact sheet, HealthPathways info and other useful links can be found on the Healthy North Coast’s education webpage.
