Healthy North Coast is thrilled to welcome nearly 200 North Coast clinicians who have registered to stay up to date with vaccination news through our Immunisation Community of Practice (CoP).
Participants in the CoP will be invited to dial in to monthly webinars — short, informative sessions on a range of different immunisation topics. All sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand view. As the program develops, resources and other bite-size videos will be shared.
“Last month’s webinar looked at the key elements of the North Coast vaccine rollout plan, which vaccines are being considered for implementation, and the surveillance and monitoring that has been put in place to ensure vaccine safety,” said Eva James, Population Health Coordinator at Healthy North Coast.
“We were really pleased to see 70 people join live to ask questions and we encourage those who missed it to catch up on the webinar recording. It’s clear local immunisation providers value hearing what their colleagues are doing in this space, especially as the COVID-19 vaccination program continues to develop. We hope we’ll see more people joining so we can continue to learn from each other. If you haven’t signed up to be part of the CoP yet, sign up now so we can let you know when webinars are happening.”

We recommend you register for the NCIRS webinar as well, which will be recorded if you can’t make it on the day. Healthy North Coast will build on the information presented by NCIRS and bring you locally relevant information and resources. Importantly, we will provide an opportunity for your questions to be answered by our local expert panel.
