Local Advisory Group
The Lake Cathie Local Advisory Group met on 29 January 2019. The group discussed how initiatives were progressing and shared excitement over the upcoming installation of the Healthy Towns Community Noticeboard at Woolworths.
Community Garden
Community consultation with Lake Cathie residents and businesses identified that the town would benefit from a community garden.
Community gardens provide a hub for residents of all ages to come together and create something that’s useful and beneficial to everyone.
Land has been identified for use and the project has council support. Healthy Towns Senior Project Officer, Romayne Page, is currently looking for people who are interested in forming a committee.
