The Mental Health Professionals Network (MHPN) is hosting a webinar for health care professionals on 12 May to explore perinatal anxiety and depression with key experts.
Depression and anxiety in the perinatal period is a significant problem for many Australian mothers, but how easy are these symptoms to identify in practice? Early identification and intervention from health professionals can help support the mental health and wellbeing of mothers right from the onset, and set them up for the best possible chance of recovery.
The MHPN webinar, ‘An interdisciplinary approach to perinatal anxiety and depression’ will feature an interdisciplinary panel of experts exploring how health professionals can better identify symptoms of perinatal anxiety and depression and provide enhanced care for women at risk.
The professional development webinars are free for practitioners and feature leading experts in a case-based panel discussion. Webinar participants can interact with panellists and each other throughout the session via a chat box and by submitting questions directly to the panel.
