Healthy North Coast has introduced the National Telehealth Training Program, designed for local clinicians and residential aged care home (RACH) staff to build skills in telehealth video consultations.
Telehealth consultations benefit residents and clinicians by reducing unnecessary travel for frail residents and increasing access to specialists. The free training includes tailored modules for different roles, offering practical advice and resources to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
Accredited by the Royal Australian College of GPs, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, and the Australian College of Nursing, the program allows participants to claim CPD points upon completion.
Each module, approximately six minutes long, fits easily into busy schedules.
To access the training, create an account on the Accelerate QI platform and start your learning pathway.
