The Vaccine Information HealthPathway has recently undergone a name change and is now titled Vaccination Resources.
This HealthPathway links to a number of local, state and national resources and provides a comprehensive collation of reference material about the COVID-19 vaccination program.
In the Mid and North Coast – Local Guidance section, immunisers will find information about how to register for local updates to the COVID-19 vaccine roll out and access local education sessions and webinar recordings from Healthy North Coast’s Immunisation Community of Practice.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Procedure pathway has also been updated to make it easier to find the information you need during a vaccine consult. This pathway covers the key clinical information about the 3 approved vaccines, practice processes for vaccine clinics and cold chain management, and resources to support patients with vaccine hesitancy or adverse effects.
Concise, localised information about how to access a COVID-19 vaccination or advice about adverse events reporting, clinical concerns, or vaccine stock management and wastage reporting, is available on the COVID-19 Referrals pathways.
Mid and North Coast HealthPathways is now used by more than 1,500 people per month across more than 700 clinical management and referral pathways. You can support the team to improve the program by participating in our Health Professionals Survey, and enter a draw to win one of five $500 eGift cards.
To request a new pathway or suggest changes to an existing pathway, please get in touch by clicking the small blue speech bubble at the bottom right of each pathway.
