Since July 2018, North Coast Primary Health Network has partnered with the Cancer Institute NSW as part of their One Small Step – One Big Difference project. The project aims to provide support to patients who smoke by referring them to the NSW Quitline.
Despite the significant reduction in smoking rates across NSW, tobacco remains the largest cause of preventable disease and death in NSW. Over 47,000 people are hospitalised and nearly 5,500 deaths are attributed to smoking each year.
You have been invited to complete a short survey to provide feedback and help Cancer Institute NSW to develop smoking cessation programs.
