If you had your second COVID-19 vaccine three or more months ago and are 18 years or over, now is the time to get your booster dose.
It doesn’t matter if you had a different vaccine for your first two doses, you can have Pfizer or Moderna for your booster.
Getting boosted helps everyone in the community maintain a high level of protection against COVID-19.
The booster dose helps make sure the protection from the first and second dose is stronger and longer lasting.
People are eligible for a booster vaccination if they:
- have received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- are aged 18 years and over
- received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 3 months ago.
To check eligibility for a booster, visit your vaccination record on myGov or use the My Health Record app to see when you had your second dose.
Take proof of vaccination for dose 1 and 2 to your booster appointment. Accepted proof includes a COVID-19 certificate or immunisation record.
To find available appointments and make a booking, visit the Vaccine Clinic Finder. NSW Health is also taking bookings for its vaccination clinics.
