Communities still recovering from the 2019–20 bushfires can now apply for the Australian Government’s new Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program from 22 July.
Guidelines for the grants program, as well as a sample application and agreement forms, are available on the Business Grants Hub website. Grants of $20,000 to $10 million are open to community organisations, businesses and local councils.
The new grants program will help communities address priority work that hasn’t yet been supported under other funding programs.
The grants will fund projects to support social, economic, built and environmental recovery. They are available in all local government areas that were disaster declared as a result of the 2019–20 bushfires.
Applications for the grants close 2 September 2021.
