On 1 January 2019, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) launched their Non-Vocationally Registered (Non-VR) Fellowship Support Program.
This program is designed for non-VR medical practitioners wanting to maintain 100% of their Medicare billings via attaining specialist GP status.
As part of the Stronger Rural Health Strategy, the Commonwealth will provide a financial contribution of up to $15,000 if the fellowship is completed via ACRRM’s Independent Pathway.
