Healthy North Coast is excited to offer general practices and Aboriginal Medical Services on the North Coast the opportunity to access the Sustainability and Viability Initiative (SAVI) assessment in February 2026.
SAVI is a practical tool designed to give practices a clearer picture of what’s working well and where there may be opportunities to strengthen sustainability over time – regardless of size, location or current circumstances.
Access to this assessment is available to all general practices and Aboriginal Medical Services in the Healthy North Coast footprint via a code unique to their organisation.
This program helps general practices self-assess their workforce, operations and finance. Once completed, you will receive a tailored report that provides useful insights into your business and highlights potential areas for future planning or improvement.
Participating practices will then be supported through coaching by their Regional Managers, to implement practice support plans to help address areas of need, with future resources to help increase capability of your practice.
The SAVI assessment has been developed and tested by Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN, in partnership with Semantic Consulting, who have been engaged to assist practices in our region interpret their data to best understand business needs.
The assessment is completely voluntary, and results are 100% confidential. You will receive your practice’s unique link to complete this assessment in February from Semantic Consulting.
