Healthy North Coast is requesting proposals for the following Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs and initiatives.
Jarjum Mental Health Service – Richmond Valley area
We are seeking Aboriginal organisations to provide:
- an Aboriginal child mental health service that has a multifaceted approach to the provision of a community-based, therapeutic support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged under 12 years and their families.
- targeted cultural and social and emotional wellbeing programs that aim to strengthen connection to culture, identity and support the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
Aboriginal Cultural Connections Program – Birpai, Dunghutti, Gumbaynggirr, Yaegl, Bundjalung, Arakwal and Githabul nations
We are seeking Aboriginal people and organisations to deliver programs or initiatives that:
- aim to increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s sense of identity, cultural connectedness, self-esteem, and social and emotional wellbeing
- are relevant to specific local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- run consistently over several days, weeks or months.
