It has been a big year for Healthy North Coast’s popular quality improvement program, Primary Care Impact (PCI).
PCI has launched 59 region-focused quality improvement activities, and 117 local practices have engage with the initiative. Thank you to all who have been involved and contributed to PCI’s exciting growth.
In what has been a challenging year, our local practices turned to PCI for guidance and support.
The program launched 13 COVID-19 related activities, with 108 local practices actively participating in a COVID-19 quality improvement initiative. The most popular topic to date has been Increase patient and staff safety during COVID-19.
Recent additions to the site are national data comparison graphs. These graphs enable practices to compare how the North Coast region is tracking in comparison to national averages.
Check out the PCI pages below to see the top highlights for the North Coast:
- Improve recording of HbA1c results
- Improve recording of smoking status
- Improve recording of risk factors to enable CVD assessment
- Improve recording of proportion of females aged 25-74 with up-to-date cervical screening
If you have any Primary Care Impact feedback or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.
