NSW Health has launched a series of new videos about drugs and alcohol and the effect they have on a young person’s developing brain.
The three short animated videos illustrate the effects of alcohol, MDMA (ecstasy) and cannabis. Their tagline is ‘Respect Your Brain’.
The videos aim to provide credible, accessible and relevant information. Their goal is to help young people better understand the risk of brain-related harm from substance use.
The videos have been designed to support health workers and educators. They will complement the Personal Development, Health and Physical Education curriculum for students in years 7-10.
