The End-of-Life Essentials project is housed in Flinders University and funded by the Australian Government to provide free educational resources to healthcare professionals.
They’ve recognised that many staff want to gain an understanding on the key fundamentals of end-of-life care.
Their new ‘Orientation to End-of-Life Care’ package includes four key modules to assist:
- Dying, a Normal Part of Life
- Recognising the End-of-Life
- Imminent Death
- Communication and Decision-Making.
