Natalie Young is the enthusiastic Practice Manager at Mid North Coast’s newest medical practice at Scotts Head. The practice offers a range of patient-focused medical services in new, purpose-built medical facilities.
Natalie has teamed up with her mother and brother to provide quality services.
‘Our service has been needed for a long time,’ Natalie says. ‘Some Nambucca valley residents wait up to three or four weeks to see their doctors. We aim to contribute to better access to healthcare for community residents.’
The practice doctor and Natalie’s mother, Dr Marlene Pacy, has 26 years of experience as a GP with 20 years in rural practice. She has worked at Coffs Harbour Base, Lismore Base and Ballina Hospitals. Her interests lie in mental health, geriatrics, general practice research and training.
In the community pharmacy next door, Jasper Young, Natalie’s brother, offers a wide range of pharmacy services.
‘Our services are not just for the locals, but for tourists too,’ Jasper says. ‘The community services that we provide can help to reduce demand at nearby hospitals.’
The Scotts Head Medical Practice is co-located at Scotts Head Central with Scotts Head Pharmacy. Scotts Head Central is located at 4/5 Adin Street, Scotts Head. You can learn more at: www.scottsheadmedical.com.au
