A neurologist offering botox for certain neurological diseases and movement disorders is now operating in Coffs Harbour.
Dr Sanjeev Taneja trained as a neurologist in Australia and completed a one-year Fellowship in movement disorders at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr Taneja practices in Coffs Harbour as well as in Wollongong where he is working at the hospital as a consultant neurologist.
He received extensive training at Mount Sinai Hospital in the use of Botulinum Toxin (botox) to treat patients with neurological diseases and movement disorders.
Currently he treats patients with botox for dystonias, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasms, spasticity, head tremors and cervical dystonias. He is also trained in the use of botox for sialorrhoea, migraines, synkinesis, cerebral palsy, axillary and palmar hyperhydrosis, oromandibular dystonias, bruxism and hyperlacrimation.
Dr Taneja’s other interests include management of dystonia, Huntington’s Chorea, tremors, tics and other movement disorders.
