The National Asthma Council Australia (NAC) has recently launched its Health Professionals Network. This network aims to engage a broad range of health professionals who provide care to people who have asthma or allergies, and who want to help improve asthma resources and services.
The Health Professionals Network is designed to be flexible and allow members to be engaged on their terms. It allows the National Asthma Council to consult stakeholders for input and feedback to ensure their perspectives are included and that NAC projects are relevant, accurate and impactful. Membership is open to people working in the Australian health care system and providing services to people with asthma or allergies.
Members of the network will be consulted for advice and assistance in the planning, delivery and/or evaluation of NAC projects, services and resources. Engagement opportunities will vary depending on the project; many will be online but some will be in person or by teleconference. There is no obligation to participate in any of the opportunities, members can get involved in as many or as few as they want.
