A record-setting 83 nurses attended the most recent Immunisation Update held in Ballina on Wednesday 5 June 2019. Considering the event was held on State of Origin night, the attendance is even more impressive!
Respected health professional Marianne Trent showed up after retiring last month as the Public Health Unit’s Immunisation Coordinator. She came along not to present, but to say goodbye and offer her thanks to the many nurses she has worked with over the years.
Marianne was given a much-deserved standing ovation by the nurses in attendance. There’s no doubt she’ll be missed – she was keen to share the benefits of 27 years’ experience in the field of Immunisation and Public Health.
We wish Marianne all the best for a happy and fulfilling retirement.
