One of the key roles of Healthy North Coast, and other Primary Health Networks (PHNs) in the country, is to identify local health needs and service gaps and, based on this evidence, to plan and commission primary healthcare programs that address community needs.
Our local Health Needs Assessment community surveys are undertaken every three years to help identify new or emerging trends.
Over the coming weeks, Healthy North Coast will reach out to primary care providers and local partner organisations to ask for your help in promoting the 2024 Local Health Needs Assessment community survey.
Past community surveys have provided unique insights into primary care needs across our region, informing where and how to utilise available funding resources to get the most positive outcomes.
As trusted North Coast health professionals and providers, we will be seeking your support in spreading the word about this important survey. Hearing from our communities about what is working and what isn’t is critical in shaping a healthier future on the North Coast.
We will share both digital and printed materials for you to help promote this opportunity in your practice or building spaces, on your website, newsletters and social media channels, and however else you connect with your community. Plus, as health consumers yourselves, you’ll be encouraged to also complete the short 10-minute questionnaire.
The survey will run for three weeks, opening on Monday 25 March 2024 and closing on Sunday 14 April 2024.
More information and promotional materials will be available soon. For any immediate questions, please contact [email protected].
You are able to help shape the future of primary healthcare in your community. Every voice matters. Help us spread the word!
