Get the Facts About Immunisation
The Department of Health is promoting vaccination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children through engaging, targeted information for parents with children under the age of five. The campaign explains the benefits of childhood vaccination and encourages timely completion of the childhood immunisation schedule.
A range of communication resources have been developed to equip vaccination providers with culturally appropriate tools to inform conversations. The materials are hosted on the campaign website:
- Get the facts video – Protect your mob – ‘Get the facts – It’s really important to vaccinate on time’
- Get the facts motion graphic – Protect your mob – ‘Get the facts – getting your bub vaccinated is free and helps keep them, and everyone safe from diseases’
- Get the facts brochure – Protect your mob – ‘Immunisation save lives’
- Get the facts poster – Protect your mob – ‘Immunisation protects all our kids’
