Healthy North Coast is seeking up to four non-executive directors to play a critical role in the strategic leadership of the organisation. The positions are for three-year terms.
Healthy North Coast is a not-for-profit company whose principal activity is to promote better health for North Coast communities, working alongside local health care professionals, social services and hospitals to achieve this goal.
As one of 31 Primary Health Networks (PHN) funded by the Commonwealth Government, Healthy North Coast believes there is no wrong door – all people should be supported to have their health needs met regardless of how and where they enter the health system.
Healthy North Coast is looking for experienced and highly strategic leaders whose skills will complement those of existing Board members. Critical skillsets and experience that will be highly regarded include:
- Technology – knowledge and experience with applied IT governance including privacy, data management and security.
- Finance and Audit – experience in financial governance.
- Network capabilities across Indigenous health, academia and/or health research.
- Local community networks.
- Experience in the diversification of funding sources.
- Health expertise – knowledge of and/or experience in Australian global health systems reform.
These opportunities have become available due to the retirement and completed terms of office of existing board members.
