It’s now easier for HealthPathways users to have the information they need at their fingertips, with a change to the HealthPathways home page.
A new tab, Local Specialists and Health Services, has been created and placed prominently near the top of the table of contents in the left-side margin.
Previously, details about specialists and other health service providers was named ‘Summary of Referral Pages’ and located at the bottom of the table of contents.
HealthPathways Clinical Editor Dr Hilton Koppe said the change made important information easier to find.
Local Specialists and Health Services includes information on all the region’s specialists as well as allied health providers, services for specific populations such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, interpreter services, refugee services and much more.
There are also specific categories for child health, women’s health, and older person’s health, along with other specialities.
