There is a new national HealthLink SmartForm available for Best Practice, Genie, Medical Director and Medtech Evolution software programs.
Through HealthLink, the Oculo Optometrist SmartForm referral allows GPs to locate and refer to an optometrist within close proximity to the patient. The SmartForm has been specifically designed to help patients with diabetes or other potential eye conditions. Where appropriate, the return of any correspondence from the optometrist will flow directly into the review section of the GP’s preferred clinical records system.
Oculo is the technology partner of KeepSight, the government-backed, national eye screening program to prevent diabetes-related blindness. Oculo is a cloud-based clinical communication platform facilitating secure, instant transfer of clinical imaging, referrals, eye reports and other correspondence between health care professionals.
