The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) partnered with Bluesky Community Services to deliver the First 2000 Days Webinar Series throughout 2022.
MNCLHD Health Promotion Coordinator Teisha Schirmer said the webinar sessions provided a valuable resource, and evaluation results from the webinars were very positive.

‘The presenters collaborated in a multidisciplinary effort to develop and deliver the presentations, and the time and effort put into these presentations ensured they were a valuable resource for our clinicians who attended.
‘Overall, there was a 36 per cent increase in knowledge about the health topics, 40 per cent increase in confidence to support families and children with the health topics and 17 per cent increase in the likelihood of providing support and referral pathways to families,’ Ms Schirmer said.
‘Many participants also commented on how informative, empowering, evidenced-based, clear and reassuring the sessions were. Several participants also acknowledged the professionalism and expertise of the presenters.’
