North Coast Primary Health Network’s Healthy Towns program has funded the employment of a Community Connector based in Evans Head. The Community Connector will support community members to access health and wellbeing services and build social connectedness.
Tessa Parker was successfully appointed to the Community Connector role in August 2019. Tessa grew up in Evans Head and is now raising her young family in the community. She has been working at the Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre for the past four years and is looking forward to supporting a range of activities identified by the Evans Head community through our Healthy Towns consultations.
Tessa will be based at the Community Information Hub at 4 Oak St, Evans Head from 8-4pm Monday – Thursday. Email: [email protected]
Please stop by the hub to welcome Tessa and chat with her about any ideas you may have to promote health and wellbeing in the community.
