Healthy North Coast is excited to announce the full rollout of the Building Nurse Capacity in Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH) Education Program – now available across the region after successful pilots in several aged care sites.
Developed and delivered by the Primary Care Innovation (PCI) team, this free education initiative is designed to boost the skills, confidence, and clinical leadership of nurses working in residential aged care.
What makes this program different?
Shaped by direct feedback from aged care nurses, the program offers practical, flexible learning aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
Modules include:
- Advance care planning
- Palliative care
- Telehealth
- Recognising & responding to deterioration
What you and your staff will gain using the program:
- Free access to online modules covering key clinical areas
- Tools to support clinical decision-making and reduce avoidable hospital transfers
- Resources to improve communication and enhance resident and family experiences
