We have some great news: we’re coming back face to face!
The Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society is your chance to embed yourself in your local community of health practitioners. It’s an opportunity to make friends, network, get to know your referrals, learn new information and have fun in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing space.
On Wednesday 17 November, the Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society will meet at Coffs Harbour Surf Club for an evening to reflect on the past year, come together and gain some education.
We’ll be hearing from Dr Eileen Morrisroe, a new vascular and endovascular surgeon in the Coffs Harbour region, about the local services and facilities now available for managing arterial and venous disorders in Coffs Harbour and the surrounding regions.
We’ll also talk to you about the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen CPD needs assessment and share with you Healthy North Coast’s draft 2022 CPD calendar. This will be a chance for you to let us know what’s missing and which CPD topics are important for your personal learning.

Dr Morrisroe is highly experienced in all forms of vascular and endovascular surgery, including management of peripheral arterial disease (angioplasty, stenting, bypass, wound management), management and treatment of aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy, diabetic foot management, varicose veins, thoracic outlet syndrome, dialysis access surgery, chemotherapy access (portacath insertion) and pelvic congestion syndrome (ovarian vein embolisation).
Who’s invited?
The Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society is all about fostering integration.
With this in mind, all primary health care professionals working in the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen regions (as well as the surrounds) are encouraged to come along. We’d love to see a good mix of GPs, GP registrars, practice managers, nurses and staff, allied health, Aboriginal health workers and service coordinators in attendance.
Numbers will be limited in line with COVID safety, so please register early to reserve your place.
In the event that we need to cancel the face-to-face event, we will instead join online for a shorter session and all those registered will receive a free gift.
Help us spread the word
To help us grow the Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society, we need your help. Please download the flyer for this event and share it with your colleagues. Encourage them to come along and if they can’t make it, encourage them to sign up for the Coffs Harbour & Bellingen Clinical Society to be notified of future events.
