Tweed Valley Clinical Society
6pm Tuesday 20 April
Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club
Join colleagues at the Tweed Valley Clinical Society for dinner on Tuesday 20 April to find out if some of your patients could benefit from a lifestyle change. Understand more about health and wellness coaching, explore lifestyle medicine and meet your local holistic health providers.
Our expert lifestyle medicine practitioners will show you how to provide an interdisciplinary, whole-system approach to the prevention and reversal of chronic and lifestyle-related diseases through the modification of your patient’s behavioural, social and environmental drivers.
Discover local options to help with behaviour modification so you can refer patients to the most suitable services for their needs. Our open forum lets you share your experiences, ask questions, and learn how to ‘share the load’ when providing person-centred care for your patients.
Learning Outcomes
- Describe a comprehensive lifestyle medicine approach to patient assessment and management
- Increased knowledge of local service providers to support your patient’s health journey
- Develop strategies to improve patient/clinician communication
- Identify obstacles to optimal patient health and ways to overcome them
