BreastScreen NSW is a free breast cancer screening program designed specifically for women aged 50 to 74. Women in this group are recommended to have a breast screen every two years.
A breast screen (also known as a mammogram) is an x-ray of the breasts. Mammograms can detect very small breast cancers before they can be seen or felt.
Make an appointment for a free breast screen by phoning 13 20 50 or book online.
The BreastScreen NSW mobile unit will be visiting the Clarence Valley and the Northern Rivers in the coming weeks.
