The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare’s (AIHW) Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services National Minimum Data Set (AODTS NMDS) 2021-22 collection cycle is now open.
The AIHW is responsible for collecting and assisting drug and alcohol program-funded agencies with the validation of their agency data for inclusion in the report on AODTS NMDS.
Submissions will be accepted until 31 October 2022. Contact aod@aihw.gov.au if you have any questions regarding the AODTS NMDS 2021–22 submission process.
New alcohol and other drugs resources
Meanwhile, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has announced new alcohol and other drugs resources for GPs.
As part of the RACGP Alcohol and Other Drugs GP Education Program, funded by the Australian Government, the RACGP developed a range of tools and resources for GPs to assist in addressing alcohol and drug use in the community.
The Alcohol & Other Drugs GP Education Resource Library is available on the RACGP website.
